Finally Remarry BD Drives To Other Consoles

I am on 3.56 so this work work right because you can't get out of service mode? :'(

Great work

I have a 256MB nand 60GB Launch model, downgraded and lost bluray playback.
What can i do to restore bluray playback

downgrade to 2.30 and then remarry or do i have to use another PS3 and if so, which model?

Well.... Looks like I'm waiting upon a 3.56 downgrade now.

Hey did anybody get a drive init failed? I cant downgrade b/c of it. Would this be indicative of a broken bluray controller board b/c im not sure if my console has a broken controller board or just a mismatched drive...bought it off ebay

Not yet. I highly doubt it will be created unless it is leaked from sony.

Yeah, I have the same error on 2 of my blu ray i/o boards

"FAILED" "NG"

I'm thinking they are toast.

However, you can still downgrade using the lv2.diag blu ray bypass by jaicrab and install any FW, including the OFW's. I hope this helps

Great! Been waiting for this.Would I be able to marry a slim bd drive to a phat console with this? I have a phat logic board I could use but I'd rather have a working drive in it and all I have is a slim drive. If not this is still great thanks to devs who created this.
