This news doesn't really seem worthy of being posted on the sites main page.

HEY EVERY ONE I SUGEST ANYONE who is interested in playing ffx-2 start playing FF7 so you can understand what going to happen in ffx-2 because there is 80% chance (a big chance) that ff7 will be involved!!
EDIT: read it in an unoffical site.. also when i readthe usa official site i got the impresion that SOMEONE ELSE is sending something to the girls which matched exectly as the rumor says... which says that ........ (from ff7) is sending them something.
dont want to spoil anything :P

All the menus and dialog are in english, so it is no problem to import the game and play it on a modded PS2 even if you have no knowledge of Japanese.

Hmm.. no man.
In FFX-2 INT+Last Mission, only the voices will be in english.
All the rest; subtitles, dialogs and menus will be in japanese.
I wish there was an option to put this in english too (like on FFX International) but there just won't be.

Actually if you import FFX-2 International, the new 'last mission' is voiced in japanese only and probably the new ending too. So only worth it if you want the new characters/dresses. Weird to have one chunk in japanese and the rest in english.

Yeah that's correct Rob.
Weird indeed... and proves that they won't release FFX2 INT + Last Mission in the US/Europe, otherwise they would have at least localized "Last Mission" in english language.

For Final Fantasy i would be interested to learn the language Japanese itself.... but than again as I was speaking to a friend of mine livin n Malasia... he told me that even them selves do not understand the language 100% because those symbols we see are REALLY symbols not words. He told me that to write the word for example "DOG" there are 5 symbols for it !! all you do is draw a dog in letter style.. somehting like that ... so learning japanese (chinese and otehr language included) would be to dedicate your life to it only lol.. stupid huh ? if only every one know english and no regions exist :P no pal and ntsc just one standard ... oh well maybe in my next life as an alien lol
