Right ok, I don't get how this works, How can I possible be able to copy my games to my playstation and be able to play them with out the Disk? I would be greatful if someone made a step by step tutorial on how to copy the game to the HDD and then patched it so you are enable to play the game with out the disk and also does this work for any game?

I'm also sort of curious why we are limited to an 8 character directory name off the root directory on the PS3.. root is not the best place to be throwing everything, unless your MSDOS lol.
edit:Using Windows 7 pro x64
edit2: Well, no idea, I ran it once as administrator and now it seems to be working each time. Still uploading the files I just downloaded from my PS3's bluray drive. A copier (bluray -> ps3 hdd) would be really handy and save alot of time. Haven't tested to see if it works yet.
One note to the author, you could streamline this a bit by only asking for the game dir, and extracting the title info from the SFO file instead of all the other steps. I realize all the noobs won't have something to cry about, but it would offer some streamlining to a good frontend you've made.
its says u need exact 8 characters ... but in dev_hdd0 the name needs to be 9 characters long
Do i get this right?
You backup a game on ps3 with all files. (start wont work)
you start ftp get the eboot.bin on pc modify the eboot.bin with this application then transfer it in the backup usrdir folder then the game starts?
