Any release date for the DMS3 v9 support??

Does anyone knows when the Asian v9 is going to be released? Saw that the Singapore govt already have entered the serial no of 50006 and 50006/N. It could be 2 version...
A PAL and NTSC could be released for the Asian market...

The 50006 will be PAL for DVD movies and NTSC-J for games.

Will the official sony HDD on a DMS3 v9 premod work with backup copies of games having HDD support.

I mean to say, will HDD that comes bundled with the v9 ps2 (5000xx) work with the backup copies of Xenosaga, FFX international, Capcom vs. SNK, and Soul caliber, etc if there is a DMS3 v9 on board.

Am asking this, coz am getting a DMS3 v9 premod for $330 with the sony HDD. I live in India and over here there are only premods available (imported from Hong Kong or somwhere) and online gaming is out of question. I think it should be 50006 with PAL for DVD movies and NTSC-J for games just like charlie said.

So what do you guys think, should I go for it???

I think we can only come to know the answer of the above question when there is a DMS3 v9 review available from any of the pro chippers on the board.

i just bought a v9 the other day and i know since it shipped out to the US recently there hasnt been a lot of modchip support testing done on this version yet. does anyone know if the DMS3 supports the US 50001? is there a working chip for this version at all? i've done some google searching and forum reading, and there just doesn't seem to be a lot of information circulating around about this. i was just wondering because i'd like to get a mod for this v9 system and sell my modded v7 magic 3.1. thanks.

Magic V and Mars II MA 501 and Smartchip Pro are the only chips that currently work with the v9. DMS3 is opting to make their chip better and this is causing some delays. Anyone know if they're going to release this chip soon? I'm worried cuz they removed their v9 announcement from their main page. Thanks!

Magic V and Mars II MA 501 and Smartchip Pro are the only chips that currently work with the v9

Messiah2 V1.31 also works on V9
