I haven't got the top off Aericki so I'm not sure. It seems quiet.

Tose rips worked in the same PS2 with Messiah 2. They didn't work with Magic 3.x on v7 but did with Messiah 2 and Apple.

So what do you know about boot sstrategies that make this possible?

Use notepad. Anyway, just read it and it's basically your review with their logo at the top.

as long as i catch the postman in 4-8 hours time i will fit dms3 to my 37pin socket v7 gh019 tomorrow

if time allows i will rewire my v5 with socket(cutting frames takes longer and test it in that as well


the way i see it
pal users gain dvd region free, usa wont play pal so they not get multi region fully


pal and usa wont play all games

messiah2 is still top chip it boots everything

maybe dms3 team has there chance to use there update feature again good luck ********* i know u have the ability if this part is upgradeable?? (ie dvdrips not booting)

charlie_ps2. I didn't realize the chip was as big as it was until I saw your install pic. Looks about the same size as a neo4. It's a pity it doesn't perform as well as a neo4, these never had problems with dvd-rips.

Also, did you by any chance check to see if macrovision was removed on original dvd movies.

DMS3 to my knowledge recalled their v8 support.

Test on other machines. Why are you testing v8 anyways and basing your review on that solely?

Messiah 2's must be stocking up for certain individuals who need to unload them as the DMS3 will be leaving it in the dust.

This comes from a guy who has been M2 supportive since day 1 and before with M1's.

We need v1-v7 tests, NOT v8.

Just my thoughts.
