Did you try the adjustments for laser. You can put a regular v7 laser to see if that works.
No need for laser adjustment. It plays DVD-R movies. It also finds the DVD-R groove on games and doesn't like what it sees (i.e. no wobble). The laser is fine.Originally posted by messiahfan2003

They're charging how much for this chip?
It's explained in the report. The BIN file needs to be larger or else it doesn't write a complete track or something like that. So there's a pdded BIN file for this situation. Depends on your burner whether or not you need that.Originally posted by tempuser

You should get a dru 500 ax so you can test dvd+r. Maybe this will help.
When you look at this photo, please bear in mind that we de-installed a messiah 2 (which is in the picture) and located the DMS3 in such a way as to avoid having to totally re-do the wires.
So it's not a pretty sight!
You should put a 37 pin socket on your hk v8.
not to start a war or anything, but there is a DMS3 review on the ownz site....and it seems VERY similar![]()

Looks like Zs up to his copying and pasting again.
Do me a favor: never go there AGAIN. That place is friggin trash and full of Z's crap POS flippy top covers. Theres no point in going there anyways, isnt this place good enough for ya?
But lets get back to the topic, eh?
Nice review as always charlie, im assuming that the v7 will have better results.
