DMS is looking for beta testers!!

The DMS team strikes back again!!

They are looking for people who meets any of the following criteria:
1. PAL users with a number of unpatched NTSC PSX(Not PS2!) games and a TV which can resolve a 60Hz vsync.(ie TV doesn't "roll" when you play NTSC, it's just black and white)
2. PAL users with a number of unpatched NTSC PS2 games and a TV which can resolve 60Hz vsync.(ie TV doesn't "roll" when you play NTSC, it's just black and white)
3. NTSC users with a number of unpatched PAL PSX games.
4. NTSC U/C users with the FFXI Beta kit.
5. NTSC J users with the HDD kit and version .20 or .30 of the BB Navigator software.
6. Users from any region who have a number of HDD-enabled games, a regular IDE HDD(Not the official Sony one) of atleast 40 gigabytes and the PS2 network adapter.

NTSC users with a number of unpatched PAL PSX games.

Any PAL games at all? I have a couple of PAL games I think, originals so I think they are unpatched

Are they wanting us to post interest here or on their web site?

Obviously I have PAL stations...

I have a stack of un patched NTSC PSX games
I also have a few PS2...

I have 2 TVs that will support any frequency type and an old TV that Has a V-hold that can be set to prevent NTSC roll.

Would be interested to help test... only issue would be I don't want to test Alpha... beta - is ok - as long as it is true beta... as I don't want to have the station die due to a lack of bench testing prior to beta release testing...

nup I can't help...

"Of course a requirement is that you have a DMS3 chip in your PS2 and it's already functioning correctly."

oh well... Thought they were talking about beta testing a entire chip not just code... and as I don't have one installed... the code would be pretty hard for me to tes!

Go on their forum. But I think they have chosen their beta tester already.
