Details of PSPgo Exploit Finally Released!

Lots of chatter on various forums, after details of the PSPgo Exploit v6.10 got released. With the author saying Freeplay stole it, as seen here: http://forums.mformature.net/showthread.php?t=6583

Problem is Sony has patched "Mercury" to make it use v6.20, and patched the exploit in the v6.20 PSPgo. So this is only useful now for study and playing around on the 3000 and the newer 2000 units with older v6.10.

i can't believe that Freeplay jacked the mercury exploit and then released it as if it was his own work. all for braggin' rights...:crazy:??

anyways, in reading the official story, Freeplay has pretty much also revealed that there were "other" exploits cooked up besides the mercury in the server from which he hacked himself into to snatch it. yes, there are other existing exploits besides mercury but these will definitely remain locked in the vault until further notice.

i think that the 6.10 mercury exploit works by flashing the psp's ram (memory) with cfw just as chickHEN does with other older psps. there is a possibility that a team of devs (hopefully GEN) can further develop this exploit in order update the current cfw versions from 5.00, 5.03, and 5.50 to a 6.00 and above cfw. :)
