    No HDCP, now that would be a treat.

    I wonder if the region faking will enable out of region PS1/2 and BluRays to boot?

    If so, that is very useful for me. BluRays especially.

    so from these 2 bits...

    Code:
    • Initialize Boot Parameters
    Reset boot parameters to their default value.
    - “Yes” : reset boot parameters.
    - “No” : do not reset boot parameters.
    this means we can leave jailbreak in tact after reboot? meaning only need to jailbreak the console ONCE!?

    Code:
    • Update Server URL
    Choose the server of firmware updates when selecting [Settings] > [System Update].
    Example : http://www.myexampleserver.com/ps3updat.txt
    Ps3updat.txt example :
    Dest=82;ImageVersion=FFFFFFFF;SystemVersion=1.0000;CDN_Timeout=30;CDN=http://www.myexampleserver.com/PS3UPDAT.PUP.100.001;
    Dest=82;ImageVersion=FFFFFFFF;SystemVersion=2.0000;CDN_Timeout=30;CDN=http://www.myexampleserver.com/PS3UPDAT.PUP.200.001;
    this means when we can edit update files.... we could basically update to custom firmware via internet? a bit like the M33 updater for PSP...?

    looks like sony are now fighting loosing battle all over again lol the ps3 seems more customizable than the psp haha

    In /setting/system/updateServerUrl we can adjust this updateserver trough ps3 registry editor.

    Found the newest ps3updat.txt for EU : http://fau01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt

    Perhaps if this can be adjusted, we can acces psn again!

    seems as if you really can't get many of the options to show on 3.41.

    after editing the xml files the only thing i could get to show up on the xmb is

    title store preview(in game)
    title store preview(store)

    neither of them actually did anything since i can't connect to the PSN

    But, even if they don't show up on menu, are they really enabled via registry on retail units?

    • Boot Mode
    Choose which mode to boot the console.
    - “Debugger Mode” : boot on the debugger, for debugging purpose.
    - “System Software Mode” : boot on system software mode, for developing purpose.
    - “Release Mode” : boot on release mode, the same than retail console, for finals tests purpose.
    Meaning, no more PSJ Dongles, just set to “Debugger Mode” and its gonna boot Jailbreak Mode everytime (no back off, cable unplug + power on btn + eject btn)???

    i've been trying, but can't figure out which registry setting it is, or if the settings are even in our registry.

    what i did find out is the menu entries are already in our sysconf_plugin.rco. so it's just a matter of enabling them
