RB4 is easy to scrape a little and solder on the front as well, but any of the green routes or rings would do the job.
The mod in main.c takes care of these pins
Since I didn't have any nice switch at home i just soldered a wire to RB4 and used it to touch ground on some spot like the usb casing. but when i pulled the wire off I just started using a nail to touch and short any two pins on the connector since RB0->RB4, gnd, is drawn there as every second pin too.
Btw - The bootloader is actually even smaller... and think I got it to end before 0x700 too.... but got some problems when compiling for 0x700, never took a deeper look into it though... anyway 0x800 works like a charm and there still a few bytes free on top of memory
ok guys I programmed my d2prog with an jdm programmer.. with winpic800 using 2550 profile programming went without errors but when I attach usb cable to my D2prog and insert in my pc it does not say USB hub detected.. the 5 icsp wires are still connected to the programmer is that the problem ?
Yes, you probably need to remove jdm-pc connection before using usbbootloader with pc.
I wasn't testing the bootloader it was my first flash .. gonna test bootloader soon, thx for that by the way.. its getting better and better for our d2prog users.
Attached is the new PSN enabled version of the Hermes 4b payload. Let me know if it works as the LED stuff was a little different in the new version.
thanks, but unfortunately it does not work flashing went ok.. but when during the JB procedure it keeps blinking green led(on and off) and no install package files are available.
