I'm very glad he did it for 3.41 and Ive been waiting for one that did it on 3.41 as I do not want to lose my third party controller support

am I missing something, or is there a reason why we cant run the payload pkg on 3.55? :S

differnt offsets it will come for 3.55 Im sure just wait and be patient

Because it will cause the PS3 to crash if run on 3.55 because things get written to different areas of memory.

so is this cfw only hard code the installing pkg into the fw and leave the "frowned upon" lv2 patches to be done by the app to mem like the payloads did?

I would re-phrase that as, taking things slowly and carefully. Make it all work on the firmware without the known lv2 checks that 3.55 has... then hopefully, go from there.

On another note hermes has never let me down .. the man is a champ .. Used his payload since day one .. Can't wait for his 3.55 gonna be some good work in that one for sure

Still waiting for a hermes 3.55 or at least a more stable 3.55 rls before I upgrade. All I really want is GT5 1.05 anyway.
