CrystalChip BootManager Release 7

the Crystal chip team have released their 7th update to their BootManager software.

Example BootManager Application Installer disc.

BootManager has been updated to use the new Application Installer discs. BM Application Installer discs allow you to create 1 disc with many applications on it and choose which applications to install to memory card from a list in a menu.

We've also fixed a few bugs in BootManager related to video fixes(some applications were locking up). The ATAD Auto-Patcher seems to be bugged, we'll sort this out in our next release.

I recieved a set of crystal chips for my own personal ps2 just a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised with it. It plays much better than that old 3 letter mod i had in my console and they do update their software alot more than both the DeMonS and Infinity put together. I dont see why this chip isnt more popular than the infinity. I guess people love them because they made some half working fix for the pstwo.

Most importantly they have no drama in their bg unlike the DeMonS and the two splits the infinity team has already gone through.

The matrix infinity has proven itself over time. The crystal chip, given time, Im sure will give all chips a run for their money.

The only thing they have proven is a v12 fix. They never did have true v8 compatability and never updated their manager software.

I'm making a bootmanager mega pack so that everyone can take advantage of their easier install process. I'm open to any requests as long as the elf feasably compatible with mc access. So far I have...

Wow....I have to say...I just got this chip this week and BootManager rocks!!! It's so nice to be able to turn on your machine and have so much flexibility.

I was having some problems getting EXECFTP to load....but I think I figured it out. When using the scripts provided by the CC Team, I just modified it load ExecFTP instead, but when it booted, it would lock up on Loading modules:

well, now i have to try out application installer. i also too been waiting for that information to be released...

I can't wait for more onscreen configuration items to be put in ...

So far the Crystal Chip has far outperfomed the "other" Mods.
It is possible to add apps via FTP as well. I will test the release 7 this weekend.
