Hot on the heels of the Release 20, comes Release 21 with some additional bug fixes as reported in the CC forums.

Software Release 21 is now available. This release incorporates some bug fixes as reported in the Crystal Chips forums as well as a few bugs that we found ourselves. This release may or may not fix the problem with CC 1.2(CC1.1 with 128kbyte flash). If not, we'll make another release as soon as we can.

This release resolves issues with Black screens after modifying and saving the Bootmanager configuration, Homebrew apps support, icon files display, and many others.

Someone needs to hack this to play backups and auto online patch like all the other releases.

Release 22 is out now as well. Check the official support forum, hosted here on PS2-Scene, for more details. They usually post the hacked firmwares there too so keep an eye out.
