    thanks for the news cmal1492

We're pleased to announce Release 10 of the Crystal Chips software pack! This release greatly improves the PBAT script system(the scripts which are used for automating application installation and execution) as well as introducing some exciting new features such as a scriptable boot menu which is totally controlled by PBAT!

There are 2 important notes with this release. First, due to some major changes in the way PBAT scripts work, existing PBAT scripts are not compatible with the new release of BootManager. This means that the famous "MegaPack" software packs will not work, and all applications must be re-installed. We've contacted the creator(TheAgent/agentboolean) about this and he's assured us that he will have a new MegaPack available shortly.

The other note is that FLASHER will automatically remove the BOOT directory of the memory card when installing BM if an older version is detected. This is necessary to avoid conflicts with scripts and avoid wasting space on your memory card.

Please read the readme for more information on the changes in this software release as they are far too numerous to mention here. Enjoy and let us know if you have any problems.
The download is available in the Crystal Chip Firmware Page

edit: I've attached the backups patch
edit2: Release 11 available. Just a bugfix in the pbat script stuff.

"Software controlled Sleep Mode is scripted in the BOOTMENU.PBT"

does this mean that the chip shuts down after booting backups?

I barely had time to mess with anything bro. Just got home from a loong days work. All i got from the CC team was an example script for release 10

Is it just me or is autoboot from BM not working? I noticed this with the 0.09 already but i thought it was a revision matter.

It's getting real bad. Let Professor Bollen give you a quick course in common sense. That'll help you use the process of deduction to calculate risks when it comes to using the firmware patches with release 11.

    • CC release 11 came with a notice stating there was a bug in the pbat scripting; Nowhere does it give mention about disc authentication.
    • By simply comparing the original release 10 osdhooks and pbat will show you they are identical

BAH! Whatever! I know most of you won't even bother to read through this post. I've attached a fully functional all discs release 11.
