There is a rumor going on about a new encryption and master code method for the v8, and all new day1 files
i'll post more info when it is presented.

Note: IF you have v7.0, delete your code save before using CB2v8.0, it will corrupted your code save

As long as people can't get around DNAS with this stupid thing anymore, I don't care.

For a while, codebreaker users were ruining Socom II because they could get around DNAS by pulling out and reinserting the memory card during DNAS. I got killed one day by a guy who appeared to have unlimited rockets and I was like WTF!!

Sony patched DNAS to prevent that, thankfully.

Codebreaker v8 for 19.99 may sound like a good deal, but you'll never get it or get your money back from Baysoftgames. Wait for another merchant to sell it.

Will it work for modded PS2 (DMS3) without deactivating it ?

The reason I ask is becos my set is an Asian Ceremic White set and has been sent for DMS3 modding... and then I bought the CodeBreaker 7.0 original but did not work even if I deactivate the ModChip. So this time round, it is better to check with you Experts before I proceed to buy the CB8.0.
