Cobra-USB Update

Nearly two months ago, we reported on an upcoming new dongle called Cobra-USB. The manufacturer has confirmed that samples are on the way to review sites and initial pre-orders have been shipped to retailers.

In addition, they have shed some light on PS2 game support...

Support to load ps2 backups in iso format without the need of any other product will be added in revision 2.0 of the firmware and Cobra USB Manager. We're in the process of implementing this feature and expect to release 2.0 in 10-14 days. This feature applies only to models with backwards compatibility: CECHB01, CECHA01 and CECHE01.

Site works here... but what's this about only working on CECHA/CECHB/CECHE? My PAL launch machine, CECHC, is backwards compatible too... why isn't that listed?

May be a work in progress? that or they dont like the PAL ones

Well the E is the closest equivalent to the C, so maybe... Still doesn't change the fact that, and I'm sorry Cobra, I won't be purchasing unless they figure out some magic for getting dongles working on 3.55.
