G you should also mention the PRODIGY2.5 modchip.It seems to me like an ICE clone but also claims to have intergrated the pic fix code into it.

This whole situation with PStwo is quite confusing. I have PWtwo (v12 / PAL) I'd like to modify. I'm trying to decide which would be *safer*/better chip for it Crystal Chip or Matrix Infinity. Which do you guys do you think should I get?

Yesterday I saw news of MuppetChip @ PS2Ownz and thought that that's the chip to get for v12, but It seems it's crap. Thanks to |Pixel| for telling that to me that yesterday in IRC.

Even more confusing is the thing with laser fixes.. I was really confused with those. There seems to be shitloads of them and I have no idea which is the best one to use.

It seems that there are the original ones made by Matrix team:
- I guess the first one was the diode fix by them (?)
- Then I guess the second one they made was PIC12C508 (?)

And from DMS forums I quickly found about fixes named: Summ0ne fix, peteroos fix, PIC Fix (12F675) --- What the heck are these?

Also few retailers are offering their own solutions:
- foundmy.com offers their own V12 Fix (and in Crystal Chip forums they write "we are doing a different kind of fix than the "matrix fix"."

Also:
- gamefreax.de are selling v12 FIX PCB (what is this based on?) and to make it even more confusing they are also selling v12 Fix vanDrunen.

They are selling v12 Fix PCB & vanDrunen Bundle packet with both fixes.

So what the heck is vanDrunen fix?

My head is about to explode.

I think best for you to buy from canada try modchip[dot]ca site and buy Matrix Infinity. good luck !

Wow scary stuff man. Sooner or later youl see the modchip manufacturers pumping out cheap clones of thier own chips just to keep up.

Had an infinity and switched to crystal. Get a crystal.

What do I do if I bought a neo bright? Will it still work it was not alot of money anyways just like $22 bucks! I have not installed it yet but I did get it from divinio or whatever! please help! If I still can use it what are the instructions on how to install it because it came with none!
