What dl supports backup manager and what payloads do i need...to make it easy on me can u link me to these or pm me the links....thanks in advance
by the way i dled the stuff on front page and cant get it to work.....i get an error when i click open manager and i never get the done screen
sorrry it me again..... i just downloaded version 0.06 from brandons website....what options under the option tab do i need to put in for it to recgonize open manager.....i downloaded all three hermes versions but dont know where to put it under either stage 1 or 2
All payloads (HERMES, PSGroove...etc) are stage 1 payloads...if in doubt, it's stage 1...

use HEREMESv3 as stage 1....leave every other option alone and do the JB...then install open managers' latest build via usb stick...if you get unknown usb device popups then disable device 6 in the options menu of the JB program and redo the JB
then play games and have fun
Here is the newest Hermesv3 fork patched by Waninkoko to allow installing demo PKG.
I haven't messed around with installing packages, so let us know if you find anything cool. I can confirm that everything still works the same for me as far as Backup Manager and homebrew, but I haven't tried to install any demo packages yet.
Thanks guys got it working...... Got hermes v3 stage 1 and ps3jb v0.06 with open manager 1.6 thanks
Ah, the Hermes 3 with the Waninkoko patch. That's pretty straight-forward -- copy port1_config_descriptor.bin to to8xv folder and run the app on it. Did that already, but thanks for doing it for everyone that needed it done for them.
Unfortunately, I can't test it yet because I'm on 3.15, and oldcripple's supposedly straight-forward method that he used to convert the Hermes payload is something I haven't unraveled yet. There are 1152 bytes changed from the original PL3, and any attempt to match any significant chunk of the file to any part of any Hermes payload has not resulted in anything matching up. I considered compiling the official psgroove and comparing the difference to Hermes payload and PL3, but I'm not sure it would help.
Hopefully someone will figure this mess out and release a "Payload Version Converter" because that's really the only thing holding us 3.15 users back from compiling a usable 8xv the second a new payload comes out (well, we can do it, but it only works on 3.41). But that's a payload issue, not a PS3JB issue.
Actual PL3 AppVars (install .pkg) for 3.41 (with Hermes patch), 3.15, 3.10, 3.01 for TI-84+.
Yeah if its so straight forward then why even waninkoko only got the correct address for 3.41, and why doesn't he look again or share the source for us..
