I had kmeaw cfw until now.

Is it bad if I update now to 3.56?

Because I don't want to wait long until i can play backups.

Will there surely be a cfw 3.56 in very near future?

Same goes for you. Don't update. So you can't play on PSN. This is something you gave up as soon as you hacked your console. Don't like the thought of that? Then update to OFW and don't bother coming back. This is the way it will be from now on. We may get PSN for a week here and there, but Sony will keep on banning/locking it down. If you don't believe me, look at the x360 scene. MS is doing the exact same thing and has been for about 3-4 yrs.

PSN is over rated if you ask me except the store. I like a lot of the smaller titles on there.

I tried to play LBP2 online for 2 days and was lucky if i could get into 1 out of every 15 levels i tried. Kept getting refused

I tried playing GT5 and the game kept lagging bad on me and my buddies.

I'm just glad we can actually play games coded with the new 3.50 firmware.

I'm so old that multiplayer means plugging in a second controller and going split screen on 1 TV. I guess online means more to the new breed of gamers. I'm sure most of us old timers couldn't be arsed with it

Their last egg is the PSN, It's the only thing they are fighting right now...gotta give it to them, persistent little ****s, instead of laying down like Nintendo.

it didnt work for me initially got some error 801 something so what I did was in dns put the IP twice in both top and bottom bars. It then worked. If nto just restart ur ps3 and try again.

The randomizer that Sony implemented is going to give hackers a headache. Once this gets hacked what the hell is Sony going to do? Randomize the randomizer, then make a hit single called Randomizer?

The only thing I really miss and am concerned about is my Netflix...I could really care less about psn.....sure everyonce and a great while I will go on there and DL some wallpaper or themes, maybe even a PS3 exclusive only game, but for the most part I'm not on there. So I'll enjoy my new CFW 3.55 kmeaw and continue to learn how to use Multiman 1.14...
