I've had no problems with 1.0b or 1.1. Last night I fired up the FTP no problem. I decided to try the wired connection instead of wireless to get better speed and now the FTP keeps going back to the XMB. I changed it back to my wireless connection and same thing. Tried going back to 1.0b and it locks up to black screen requiring a hard reboot.
all other apps and homebrew work, just not the ftp now.
Edit: I just kept trying different combinations of uninstalling the app, rebooting and it seems by removing the FTP app, then rebooting without anything but the JB board in, then plugging in the usb with the ftp pkg and installing it got it working again.

Try doing the different routines of removing and reinstalling it. I was getting the same thing suddenly after it was working just fine.

So, i used 1.1 and 1.0b with different ftp clients (filezilla, win7, WinSCP).
BUT, when i transfer a 7GB file (red dead redemption) its only shown as about 3GB File after transfer. Any thoughts? :/ didnt test the game yet, cause there are missing 4GB..

I have a weird problem....
The other day I have installed blacbox 1.1 and smart FTP clinet on my computer runing on WIN7, and everything worked fine. I transferd cuople of backups from my PC to PS3.
Last night I tried to do the same thing and I couldnt connect to PS3 through Smart FTP -> No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
I've tried with turning my firewall (Windows and AVG) off, but no success..., and I've even tried reinstalling blackbox on PS3, but no luck....
Can somebody help me?
Thanks in advance!
could you check for your PC and PS3 Setting again maybe something has been changed.
I checked settings on PS3 in Internet connection settings, and they were the same as the other day when they worked... Also, when I run Internet conection test on PS3, everything is OK. It finds internet connection and shows all necessary data (IP adress, type of connection, etc...)
