ATTENTION: 05/23 Anonymous hackers release PDF theory for dual firmware PS3 - Could lead to 3.6x+ key decryption/CFW!

We have been in direct contact via email with a group that is calling themselves NO_ONE and they released to the public today an outline of a possible attack theory on doing a hardware Dual-Boot PS3 Firmware, that might in the future lead to decrypting the new keys found on v3.60+ firmwares!

The technique outlined in the .PDF will help people learn more about 3.6x firmwares.

The solution relies on the implementation of a second NOR/NAND Flash.
Some technical limitations have been identified. But time will help us to remove them.

The information in the document is still theoretical for the moment, however please post results from your testing.

This is great news! Can't wait to see what will come of this! The mod is pretty "easy" to do with the proper gear. Piggybacking chips are not that easy to do with Lead free IC's though, but nothing a bit of flux can't fix..

Well having a PS3 with both CFW and OFW would be amazing. Shame I'd probably brick my PS3 if i tried.
