Asian's Giving Thanks to Geohot - Pirated PS3 Games Found At Markets!

Well, this Chinese newsite is giving thanks in part to Geohot's PS3 Hack.

And pictures are floating around of cough (pirated) PS3 Games being sold at various Asian markets.

Rough Google translate claims the pricing in the asian stalls are going for, $25 to $30 a piece, in today's US dollars.

Other sites are claiming "bullshit", as it shows a picture of a burned Final Fantasy 13, but it could be possible since the Japan release is less then month away.

He done nothing tbh in terms of hacking the PS3 fully, thats why he gave up so quickly.

sheesh... speculation bullshit.. here it comes.. There is ALOT more that needs to be done, from Geohot himself blog. He didn't give up, hes hacked the basic set of system rules and that single hack, now gives others the opportunity to create other hacks that may eventually open the PS3....

Go read up on what a lot of others who know the insides and outs of these things are saying about it, its not all its cracked up to be and a lot of people realized that when he released his work.

Yes he has done some things, just not nearly as much as people thought and we are still no where near hacking the PS3.

lol you guys missed the most obvious reason why these games are bullshit...it's a picture of ffxiii versus. that game isn't even close to being done. ffxiii is the one that's out, not versus. the only thing that people have even seen regarding versus is a trailer.

what a pointless piece of news. now only the exploit is far from providing a complete hack, but also it doesn't provide a way to load burned discs.

i really hope that ps3 gets hacked, though. for two reasons - game prices will go down. second reason - homebrew.

PC,Wii,360 games have not dropped in price due to hacks or cracks in the case of a PC so what makes you think that if/when the ps3 is hacked games prices will drop ?
