so far i recomend that it kicks back to xmb upon launch failure..
also want to report that it is also not working for me.
launching from gaia manager works fine.
launching from the pkg just black screens (no hard drive activity)
I hadn't tried it without the DTB Image first. I ended up re-trying it without the DTB Image and it STILL works.

I also didn't have any USB devices plugged in when I attempted it without the DTB Image. Not sure if that would cause any issues.
I'm using a PSFREE with Hermes v4b and also TI-84+ with Hermes v4b
Ok Let me know what firmware you guys are on??
might have something to do with the memory offsets!
Can someone explain how this work with links to download image that is required? Thanks!
Fat or slim??? sorry trying to run down any possibly
I'm not going to lie, I will never use this, but thank you. I am sure this will make it easier for people who will use it.
Worked on both of my 3.41 slims
I get further with this than with the Hermes solution. It panics after it can't find the NFS server on 192.168.3.171. That at least tells me the dtbImage-20101020.bin isn't running of the memory stick. I'm assuming if I browse the HD it's there somewhere?
Duh, I just found my problem with the Hermes issue. My DHCP server was advertising the boot file as 'dtbImage.ps3.bin', which was the name Marcan used in the README, but not the name of the file he released.
See? Reading the documentation is for suckers. Never ever read.
I'm still looking forward to looking at the pictures in remainnameless's guide though.
