One more thing, you have to use a pc keyboard my mac keyboard doesn't work.
Still anyone knows how to get the internet to work?
Can't cause your still on 3.55 I'm guessin
internet help please. i do exactly wat the video is doin and after i type cat in the lxterminal nothing happens .
Use the root of the USB stick...no folder necessary. If the files are elsewhere, the bootloader wont be able to find them. Make sure you try multiple USB sticks...I got lucky and it worked on the first one I tried (16Gb PNY with swivel-cap thing).

When you install packages in Debian with apt-get, is the rootfs writeable (in the IMG) and does it have enough free space by default? I take it user's working files could be stored in the FAT32 of the USB stick/hdd while still having the rootfs mounted off it as a loopback image the same time?
fixed it now i need internet help.... looking online for tutorials but nothing
