Did you lost your mind or are you on the wrong site!?
Well I do agree with you but I will also disagree with you. The PS Vita is doing really terrible so pirating/not pirating will not make any difference.
People still bought DS games + DS Units with the DS R4 card was out
Sony does not specialize well in handhelds the vita is wayy too overpriced for my taste for the lack of games that is on the unit.
In other words the PS Vita is a piece of trash I wouldn't waste my money on.
My hacked psp out ranks that by a mile.
Out of curiousity, what is the reason for this?

My hacked psp can play most retro emulators and have atleast a 97% ps1 compatibility list. IMO the hacked psp is the best gaming hand-held of the 21st century. Sure it does not have up to date graphics like the vita does. But why spend $250 on something which my phone (LG Spectrum) can simply out perform? Nothing appealing is about the PS Vita.
It's over priced and if you own a ps3 there is no reason to be paying double for something. When a hacked psp will keep you entertained.
Maybe I am not a graphic whore but I cant speak for others.
There is many enjoyable titles to play on a hacked psp without breaking the bank than I can say about the vita.
I know alot of guys with a vita and are bored and regretted that they followed the hype of getting one.
It is not so great when you only have 3 games to play for it that are "good"
You mean like what happened to the wii?

i have gba/gbasp bright, ds/dslite and psp 1000/2000, and i would say the psps are basically not touched at all.
where as i would still play ds/gba frequently.
anyway, yeah ps vita. not my bag. barely played psp, and not interested in any titles for vita. however, maybe one day. its nice to know people are looking into whats possible with it (normal systems are so boring)
edit: also didnt the wii sell more consoles than 360 or ps3? cant remember
You may as well just pirate the games if you aren't going to give any money to the company who made it.

Not that many adults play with hand-helds on a regular basis.
Anyone can correct me if I am wrong but the PSP was never really that popular over in the US. Only in Japan PSP was still selling more units than the PS Vita on it's release date.
i turn 25 in less than a week and im still trying to 100 percent all the pokemon games, the fact that they keep releasing them and im only just finishing the gba generation is painful lol. altho that may not be adult to you lol. who knows how old ppl are on here. (old dudes lurkin lol)
i like the zelda games as well. pretty much the only reason i have a ps3 is for ps1 final fantasy with wireless controller and retro gaming lol. as soon as i get my bluetooth usb dongle for my pc ill probably stop using it, and install rogeros latest cfw for the odd dark souls with my friend (if psn still works)
sorry to be off topic tho. im done here.
I would NEVER had purchased my PSP2k if it couldn't be hacked. To me it was just an over priced system that had an unreliable UMD system. After hacking it and playing Disgaea on a GBA'ers suggestion, I've bought a bunch of games in the series (NIS) including PS3 titles. It's probably safe to say, I bought a PS3 because of the PS3 Hacks and I use my Disgaea 3 disc to load games. No discless boots here. I wouldn't of bothered getting a PS3 for just one or two games.
I think piracy concerns are grossly over stated. I'll get a Vita when and only when it can do everything my PSP can do. I'd love a portable copy of Disgaea 3. It's just not worth $400 (System Wifi only, memory card, and single game)
