I'm a little confused. If someone's already on official 4.00 firmware then what was in the new update that they wouldn't want to install? or is this just a preventative measure in case something is done for the 4.00 users to restore homebrew?
Quick question if this allows us to bypass the 4.11 update to allow people to use SEN does this also allow people on 4.10 to bypass the update with this tool?
I think there should be a little more info put into the instructions as well seeing as there have been posts before which had people confused such us how and where to put the information in properly etc.
Using proxy bypass is not a new trick for new firmwares. Sony allows a grace period when a new firmware comes with proxy bypass. It can be as short as a few days to several weeks. Once Sony turns off the grace period, you cannot use the proxy bypass. If you don't believe me, use proxy bypass and eventually, it will stop working. I also use proxy bypass for a short time for every new firmware.
great
