thanks for the quick response earlier bitsbubba. This turned out really nice guys

on my cobra firmware thats made by bubba (NFW, newest) i always see two of every package thats in my USB001/packages/ folder when i go to install. does this happen to anyone else? would this fix that?

No it doesn't I can attest to that, but it's not just NFWv3-CobraUSB it also happens in official Cobra CFW (possibly one of their patches) best solution I found was to just use one of the other ports (or a hub will also change it because it's just that dev_usb) but ATM XMB Manager Plus will only show up without the dongle inserted in 'Games" category (I will be putting out a dev_blind update pack either later on today or tomorrow that will put XMB Manager Plus in NFWv3-CobraUSB's "Homebrew Channel" category)

you're probably getting that double listing when you have a game loaded through multiman. I get it on Rebug occasionally. It shouldn't happen when you go into the pkg manager after a fresh boot. It doesn't really hurt anything because if you see the double listing and hit install all pkg files from your USB drive it will only run the install pkg files once instead of going through all your files and installing the same pkg files twice

sweet. thats killer i would take a new nfw. i guess i didnt try to install any packages in the 1 hour i had normal cobra firmware, or i woulda noticed that sooner. i guess i could move the cobra and usb drive reverse. but i thought cobra had to be in the leftmost port.

yeah, i dont think thats my problem because i never use multiman mainly i just play nes on my ps3
