I am not 100% sure what this is or how I could use this , but thanks guys
Check out the link in the first line/sentence. You will get some background there. Sorry I cannot be more helpful but I'm experiencing a major migraine right now.
can I install this over version .20 of xmb manager +?
wizardlord, it's better if you unininstall version 0.20 first (change back to install package file option) then uninstall the pkg and then you can install the RC5 version.
We didn't want to release XMBM+ at this RC stage, but the development thread is public and now is in the ps3 news sites... I think the warning tranced put is indicated because this RC's was not tested in all firmwares.
If you want more info about this check the readme at github (https://github.com/XMB-Manager-Plus/...EADME.markdown) there you have all the information you need.
good job guys!![]()
Homebrew browser seems to be broken. Not getting any links. TB firmware - installed the regular CFW version
@andreus At times I will report news regarding RC's as you would have noticed with the older subjunk PS3 Media Server news posted here. I do however caution the use of RC's due to them been exactly that. But the main purpose of reporting such news is purely for the progress of such said projects as well as reminding the scene of such said projects. Great job to all of those involved in this project.
Thanks Tranced.
No problem with the release of RC5, my comment was just to warn users that we didn't know it was posted on frontpage so only when i reach home i saw this were and in other site. As you know the project, discussion and source are all public so the users who is interessed can learn how to do it. Being the project public of course everyone can view the progress and use the RC's or betas (with caution of course).
Cool! you tested on TB firmware. We had not tested it yet
The Homebrew browser section is still under development.
I didn't spend too much time with it, but the rest of it is working as far as I can tell. I think I mentioned I just used the regular CFW version in the installation menu. I uninstalled and then deleted the previous version first if that helps. I'll let you guys know if I run into any problems with it
