Is it already possible to play VITA games on the PS Vita?
Only homebrew and PS1 games so far?
So i guess it's not worth it, right? I mean, considering that i would buy it only because of the playable(working) ROMs.
@Hakuoro Yes, only homebrews and PS1 ISO's (No sound though) etc.
1. NO
2. YES
PSP ISO's play as well at full speed with all features.
THE UPDATE IS NOW LIVE!
It's 11:11PM USA MICHIGAN!
Who ever decides to update let me know if the uno exploit still works!
( HERES HOPING )
here in oz too and it's forced
these updates are really starting to piss me off.. last night i just updated to 2.02 in order to upload some movies from my mac, now i got some more movies to add and there you go i need to update again (2.0.5) to be able to put my movies on the vita... this sucks.
ne1 knows if you can bypass the firmware bs?
That is just a coincidence though. Firmware 2.02 was out over 1 month ago. This can happen to any firmware update on any device, it depends on how frequent you use it.
Out of curiousity, why does it pisses you off? For me, these updates takes about 5 minutes or less to do, and they occur relatively rarely. I could see the annoyance if it was several times a week and if the firmware update took 30+ minutes every time, that is why i'm curious why it pisses someone off (not just you, i've seen others say the same thing as well).
You cant directly bypass the firmware updates, but you can choose not to update the firmware and use OpenCMA. This way you can transfer files from your PC/Mac to the Vita without having to update the firmware. However, this means that you wont be able to connect to PSN (since it requires the latest firmware) and not be able to play the latest games if they require a higher firmware that you have installed.
