I mean it is always wise to be vigilant and keep yourself well protected, but in realistic terms, don't believe everything a virus scanner tells you xD
Just because something shows characteristics in the code similar to that of a virus, it doesn't mean it is. I'm not saying that it isn't, but until I see someone reverse engineer this so called "worm", I will take my own initiative like any self respecting hacker/security analyst would, and that is to run everything that is untested and you are unsure of inside a virtual environment before bringing it anywhere near the primary machine.-

with any custom hacks the general user thinks hey this is cool i can now download games and never pay. they wont think to check stuff out properly and they are
the ones who will often get there pcs infected with all sorts of crap they didnt know about.
When it pertains to anything online, especially when it comes to updates to a program that's suppose to be the new "it", expect there to be something malicious going on with it. Even if it comes directly from the source i.e Microsoft, Adobe, etc. People hack servers all day every day, changing bits of information, programs, files, just hoping to hit someone unsuspecting. This is no different.
'Tis the season to be giving/sharing right? lol
You can only stop this worm if you have Chuck Norris Anti-Virus! Or him as Anti-virus.
Or chuck Norris as a usb-dongle
