Thanks for the post, but I have deleted two shaders and it still does not work any other suggestions. Again thank you
Update: I noticed in the d/l that the pkg was for geohots cfw, I'm using Kweam 3.55, could this be an issue.

No, having kmeaw should not be an issue. Also, look at this posts in this thread for what other useres are trying: http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/...ild-r478-1214/
I just tested it in kmeaw 3.55 and after a black screen, it takes me back to the XMB menu.
i can't get this to work even i delete 3 shaders...still black screen on slim..
Unfoturly dosn't work with Multiman 2.02.00, putz simple black screen after select rom in XMB Multiman. I Want veru much utilize, but i can't. I apreciate some help. Best Regards for all.
Hey guys, read my post in this topic on how I make this work for kmeaw 3.55 plus it will work on multiMAN. Here is the link: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f6/artic...tml#post893696 (Article: FBAnext Multi-Arcade Emulator: Build r478)
I read through that thread but no solid fix for the black screens. Best post was from JayJay:
I've tried deleting several shaders, still no luck...PHP Code:Jay-Jay - Yesterday, 03:34 AM

That would be like a "hit and miss". Currently on the one that works for me [multiMAN version r435] has 38 shaders. Now I am gonna install this latest version and see how many shaders that one has.
Update:
Okay, r486 has 88 shaders. Which should I start deleting? Should I delete all the extra ones that r435 doesn't have?
Update 2:
Going from your hint on the default shader, I deleted the following three shaders:
2xBR-v2.1.cg
2xBR-v2.2.cg
2xBR-v2.cg
Now the emulators works for kmeaw 3.55. But I am still not certain which of the three is the one that perhaps causes the issue--anyone? I think someone should fix the issue with the default shader.
Update 3
Okay, had trouble loading a ROM. Seems that it chooses another default shader [3xBR-v2.1.cg], which causes it to be very slow. My preferred shader is 4xsoft-hd.cg. After I switched to my shader, my games load fine now.
Update 4:
I'm loving the feature where now it remembers my Aspect Ratio "Custom" setting. Love that. Now all my games fill my screen perfectly!
I get the feeling that this emu picks the shaders by alphabetical order. Try to delete the next shader in line (alphabetically).
Also, I am having a big issue with how it wipes out my save games each time I update it. I think they ought to fix this issue.
