Thanks to everyone for the kind words, and showing your support. You never know how much the support means until you are on the other side of things. I was not sure how well this article would go over, but it sounds like people enjoy/share my view of the current scene. I know my mind is always on the go thinking of ways to improve the site. By any means, if anyone (even banned users), ever have any ideas they would like to share about PSX-SCENE, I know I would be more than glad to hear them out.

The main points of the article I was trying to convey that people need to relax and take it easy, this isn't some school yard playground where kiddie games are being played (well, in a sense the scene it only on it's second year; and there is a lot of the "playground" attitude going around). The other point I was trying to make was it is time for people to speak up; and say what they feel. I think it is sad when there are lots of users afraid to speak their views on certain situations or even ask for help (lurkers). All these sites are supposed to be places for technical help, it is sad that sometimes they stray. "Well," you say, "Aren't you straying by writing these Editorials?" The answer resides in the track record; as for my track record, my opinion articles most of the time reflect on the current events going HERE AT THIS SITE, and their objective is to inform users about important, scene or site related information. These articles are easily passed on, or replied too, because they are not meant to agree with my views; they are simply methods of expanding your own views, and encouraging communication.

Hey tthousand, I barely be on this site anymore but I just want to say that you are doing a great job! But I do have some things to say though that I just need to say.

1. Stop broadcasting TB up on the front pages it really attracts alot of hatred. Jay-Jay along with BahumatLord and Patrick made a compatibility list and for those who need to know what game works or what firmware is okay then they can check the "TRUE BLUE" section.

2. People already know the state of the scene they just need to stop ****ing bitching and crying about it.And really get the **** over it. Buy the ****ing dongle or dont buy it. No need for justifications for what brakk3n still its still WAREZ and pirated goods nobody is really an angel here. Over at other sites people just ban people for just nonsense.

3. Nobody is diving anyone you will always have a guy that don't have a problem paying for a device and you will always have another guy that would think that he is entitled of having it free. Blame the users moralities and justifications on WAREZ its still pirated material at the end of the day. (Just what Brakk3n said) Who the **** argues about paying/not paying on WAREZ shit you still getting it at a discount anyway. Anyways those are my thoughts. Keep up the good work tthousand dont let the haters get to you.

really time to act like adults. which means to respect each other, even if we did not share the same opinion(s).

i hope more of the adults (in mind & years) read your post and think about it

and maybe a whole bunch of them decide to give the scene a chance and come back to the roots.

the scene needs a neutral place where informations will shared and not boiled emotions.

Well I get insulted by being called a "warez puppie" and a kid by someone just because I don't support TB, i insult back and I get banned while the other guy gets away with it. That is why I'm not going to be visiting this site anymore.

I feel this is what the scene is being made up of as of lately. As a semi-lurker/leecher alot of these arguments don't bother me but I still don't get why certain devs are so sensitive about their work being criticized. People are then gonna argue what is "constructive criticism" but im surprised most devs have the time to read over snazzy comments when I guess they should be focusing on what users want out of their software and working to improve upon user-related requests.

I dont post often. but I believe me to be a long time scene member. By long time. I mean as old as some of the members here claim to be. yes Reading the C64 hactro scrollers. involved in the postal trade system, and even the C64/amiga bbs days.
