but a dongle operates just like a modchip does. The same features of modchips can be integrated into dongles and vice versa. And the whole DRM and anti-clone argument is understandable to a certain extent, but don't they have a right to protect something they have worked on? And also don't they have a right to charge for something they spent time and energy to work out? Whether or not you agree with what they're doing, can you say that you are willing to work for free? I'm not and don't blame them for getting paid for their work. You could say, but that's why scener's have donation links/buttons. Truth is that really doesn't work in most cases. The income brought in from those donation buttons very rarely offsets the amount of hours that the dev put in to make their homebrew or whatever they worked on.
BORG(last release scene 2004), EHRGEIZ(never heard of them) and PARADOX/PARADiSO are just "warez" scene groups and have nothing to do with the "patch creators".
Clueless i notice, and using some public dupechecker.

Look at the computer and console groups, especially look at the Commodore machines, C64 and especially the Amiga who where the major ones, and then go for the Consoles and look at Genesis (Megadrive) and Super Nintendo, what people dumped the games and even made patches for the various console copiers what where out. Look at the current PC scene and draw references line to the Amiga groups who cracks/cracked and you will see.
Im not going to spell out he obvious here... PARADOX = TrueBlue and the subsidiary groups BORG and EHRGEIZ for example are the same people PARADOX. They the people in the PS3 side probably know some old members and using their name in the scene is okay by them cause it's quality. PARADOX has long history of making quality CRACK/PATCHES.
PARADOX has a long history of supplying people with copiers and hardware and even Modem's (US Robotics Currier HST and then as well patched for the Sportsters to act like HST modems (A Rom chip you swapped) back in the day). Just look at some old intro's from Amiga games and even some Genesis or SNES rom's.
LEGENDS never die!
Is true blue mostly only applicable for the USA? Because all the paradox patches i'm seeing are for USA games and not EUR.
They do EUR, USA, and JPN patches. USA patches can be used on EUR copies and vice versa

I'll buy as soon as e-boots are available because I only have one PS3 unlike some users that have two that users one for OFW. They released a batch of games last weekend. Maybe we will see some tomorrow!

I'm not doubting them, but there needs to be contingency plan in case they go under to keep the Scene alive. If you enjoy backing your games up and playing 3.6+ then I agree pay them the $60 to keep them alive. You pay that anyways when you buy one new game. Peace out. Off to play Diablo 3 and Prototype 2!
Saw this somewhere:
"piss off back to the Wii / PS3 Scene where they all fcuk each other over like animals"
it saddens me knowing how the scene scatters more by catering this news..if people really care and really serious killing the cancer. can't we just not cater any news on this disease? but i know i wouldn't happen it fuels the fire and puts food on the table.
hope the next consoles will be released soon that would be refreshing.
anybody know the best place to order a TB if ur in the uk?
