Yeah, I could imagine people being scared to even buy a dongle after there last announcement plus this one.

I'm glad I got mine when I did but this is bad news all around for buyers and distributors. Can't tell if they're fake until you try to update them or take them apart. Only way for distributors to sell them and be trusted is to update the dongle firmware and sell them as "Guaranteed REAL"

what a load of BS,thanks JB2USB team! it's not like i wanted to get a real True Blue dongle,just to play a couple of games,oh no no,rather i get f***** real hard by this BS.

I really hate True Blue team. Because, they are making business on the 3.55 CFW which provided for FREE to the public. If you are a man, You should find any idea to work on the higher CFW and I am happy to buy your Product if you can do. Be ashamed to do the business like that.

In other news, Sony warns of fake/look-alike firmwares circulating in the wild. These firmwares do not support PSN and may require extra hardware that may or may not cause data loss. Is this scene starting to remind anyone of the old PS2 scene with all the competing mod chips? By the way, all respect to the actual programers who create thier own work, but TB are only stealing then repackaging other peoples products with their own DRM attached. Why are they crying when others do the same to them?

May be an attempt to persuade sellers not to stock the clones. On the other hand, I have been hearing a few people say that they can't update their TB dongle.

My True Blue Firmware says 2.5.1. It does not talk to the True Blue Software but the games I've played seem to work. It does seem off to me that the latest version on their site is 2.5 and mine is 2.5.1.
