@ DCgh0st... right after the little rant they just gave it makes me want sony to crack a whip at them....who the f do they think they are saying the new games will only work with the fw update (sony) themselfs....pirates pissed that pirates copy them wtf....thats why there are devs working with open source...hope one of them cracks the new fw soon just to put this bull shit company out of business

Of course, it's not really the same, since updating your TB will not make you lose any features.

Man I thought I got jipped cuz right after I sucked it up and purchased tb last week, the frickin next day jbking was announced! I was pissed haha! But cool news that it's not a 1/1. And I should be getting my tb within the hour to my door

You know what the changelog says for this update.

- v2.4

* Stability improvements
* Enhanced dongle security

Thankfully you update the dongle using the PS3 and not a computer as they probably would only update with a PC app and I don't have a PC. I have a Mac.
