everytime i want to use it theres like no one playing at all so i dont get the point in this update!
it only works for games with multiplayer through lan, a month ago I was trying to play uncharted 3 but I couldn't find anyone, I was able to find a few people using xbslink
yeah, i try to use it and ocassionally i find a few people on there but not very often :0(
even tried to set up a little group on here where people could get together and leave a message for each other for games but got no interest at all.....

oh well, i'll still be updating it as i do use it from time to time
What we need is someone to make some code that any data that normally would get sent to psn, gets sent through the xlinks kai system. It would be hard I know, but it would be well worth doing for a number of the more popular games, which don't have a lan mode. Furthermore if it were to be released as an inbuilt feature/app within a CFW (even if did only work with lan games), then it would get many many users, since many people would eagerly upgrade to that firmware if they heard that there was a form of online on for it.
If only multiman had some kind of lan over ip protocol of its own, obviously we would still be stuck to where we are only playing games that support lan, but it would still be nice to have it built into something so many people already use.
I dont know why it would need to be added to multiman to be honest - it literally only takes 2 minutes to setup and is better if its seperate in my opinion then your ps3 cant accidentally access the internet for any reason as mine is setup
I think the main reason that you think people arent using xlink is because its extra 'effort' but i think that its just because they actually dont want to otherwise the 2 minute install wouldnt be a problem for them,
and yes, i do know xlink isnt exactly brilliant and does have a few issues but its still better than no 'online' multiplayer at all.
i think including this sort of thing into multiman wouldnt make much difference otherwise we wouldnt have the little amount of people on xlink now
I still prefer a good old lan party anyways with sperate screens but thats not always very easy to setup, lol

What about Battlefield 3, would that be playable multiplayer using xlink? (I don't know if it has the option for lan)
