I'd love to see nice working versions of Sega Saturn, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64 and 3DO emulators as well as Sega-CD image support for the Mega Drive / Genesis emulator on PS3.
Let's not forget some Jaguar/CD/II, Lynx, Virtual Boy, CDi, Neo Geo Pocket/color/CD, PC-Engine/turbografx, FM Towns Marty, Amiga CD32, PC-FX, Game.com, Ngage, GP32/2x, Zodiac Tapwave, Gizmondo, wonderswan/color, and NDS.
How awesome would it be to have an ultimate emulation station in the PS3. We're fairly close already with lots of emulators but why forget the less known systems. They're the failures that fueled the better consoles.
I only want him to look into the DOSBox port and let his talent do the magic like in those existing emulators.
No offence to RoboHobo and thanks again for the existing port (if he reads this, by any chance...)
A N64 emulator would also be epic but given the posts I've read about the work others already put into it, I just hope it can be integrated into multiman, when it's released. And yeah, if square would help them out it would be even better but then again, he's just human
but back on topic:
really great move from you square! If only every developer would be like this!
The mame emulator works already on the ps3. It just needs some tweaks like gettint to games easier, apart from that it works quite well and at a good speed
Theres virtual boy support in the mednefen emulator, if I remember correctly...![]()
To my understanding, aren't roms illegal for mame/snes ?
