yep article has been completely derailed because of people's "morales" its a shame really this topic could have been put to good use like how many people have been bannned e.t.c i think all anti piracy whiners should just call it quits and this leave this site, it will make it peaceful for all of us instead of hearing their preaching every single day.

anyone heard of users getting banned for accessing psn on lower fw..either on vita or ps3 ? like with a proxy or whatnot.

i would think not....unless sony can detect lower fw on psn ?

People who have played Black Ops 2 online with CFW got banned from the Black Ops 2 servers, but NOT from PSN. Same happened to me. If someone is banned from PSN, it is because of something else.

Yeah, i agree, i was banned from Black Ops 2 servers and not from PSN.
I'm using Rogero CFW 4.30 v1.04 + Multiman, i never used the showtime, i've been listened it doesn't erase the logs.

I use showtime all the time. Before I connect to PSN i just load multiman and then select a game first so the history is cleared. If you want to watch stuff using your PS3 I highly recommend showtime.

^maybe so to some degree.....although i won't dismiss the fact that it would appear some number of users were infact banned from psn, not just blops 2 servers or whatever.

I use the psn just to sync trophies;-) I prefer not to be banned

I've been playing codmw3 all weekend and no ban yet. I want to play bo2 but i will wait for some time before i try. I just took my chances this weekend and i was fine. I also had a ofw 4.21 that i use to play codmw3 online and i wonder if thats why i wasnt banned because they know that i had that newer fw that wasnt hackable at that time so theres really no way for my psn account to be on a hacked system unless i was dual booting. Just some thoughts. Cant wait till we find out how they know so we can bypass it.
