sounds great. this is a feature I've always wanted.

on a side note: I got a bug to report. In the previous versions, it seems that after a movie plays or it gets paused and the screensaver becomes active, and after a few minutes (maybe 15 to 20 min) when I want to continue where I left off or press a button to leave the current display, showtime freezes and I have to turn off the ps3.

I think it's because my external HDDs go into sleep mode, and I was wondering if Showtime can continue "poking" the HDDs so they don't go into sleep mode or something? I know multiMAN keeps poking the external HDDs every few minutes, but I think Showtime doesn't.

Sometimes the video freezes when I do that, and I have to exit the video. But it is nice because Showtime now picks up right where you left off. But if it is doing that every time, something must be wrong.

Would love to control playback via wifi like xbmc (think it uses a web server). Really useful to have an app on the mobile using it as a remote.

So anyone having troubles with the playback? It plays one episode and that is it, yes the files are in just one folder and plain old MKV's not compressed or anything like that.

Ok I re-installed and it is working but after one episode it gives some CPU error which sucks as it pops up for half a second but constantly does it on and off. After the episode it loses sync. Anyone else having troubles with this build?
