All I see in the photo is a picture of some sort of black USB box device plugged into the PS3 which is then plugged into a IDE->SATA adapter (the green board). One would imagine if they did develop the "black box" then they could afford a SATA HDD instead of using an IDE HDD. The black box is most likely a generic SATA->USB adapter, but my short search for it on a few picture databases didn't turn anything up.

I would never purchase a "guide book" (cheat book) or read a FAQ for a game. The only thing I read are the instruction manuals (if they even have one). RPG's have gotten to the point where they hold your hand during the game with an ocean of save points and in-game tutorials - those are for people who can't play games and so is cheating. I applaud Sony, Steam, Origin, etc ... for banning cheaters. Kids these days have no idea how much button pressing and sweat and then cursing was involved when video games were actually challenging.

I remembered there was an exploit news like this 2 or 3 years ago.Putting HDD as BD-ROM.Another similar news is adapting BD logic board to a PC.Maybe after these years, progress still developed.I hope its real project...

The pictures have to be filler or it's fake. There's no way they relate to the supposed hack. USB-to-SATA on the slim and an eSATA addon on the fat. What's any of that have to do with BD emulation?
