Screw that Grandy....
After running PSP's and PS3's from Japan with Circle as enter for the last 6 years, I decided long ago that Circle definitely was the future xD
Run Circle as enter for a month and you won't ever go back!
Possibly, but not in my case.
I run PS3 units from both layouts, always have (mainly due to Blu-Ray film region issues on the JP machine and only being able to use the A,B,C region Blu-Rays on the JP Or obviously the US and JP discs, but not much use as I only had access to UK Discs, at first there was plenty of free region films, but it seems to have gotten much tighter over time.)
Before that obviously PS2 and PSP (PS2 was always X as I never had a JP version, but I ran both O and X versions of the PSP).
I honestly think Circle is the more natural enter button due to the ergonomics of the pad itself, the first place your thumb falls across (joint then tip) is the circle, its the natural flow of the pad, then its a quick flick to X for cancel/back/exit. This is the same for the PSP, but not as prominent as the Dualshock pad.
Give it a try :-)
