Hi guys!!I have a ps3 slim 2004 120gb and i am on 4.30 v1.03 rogero...Can i update to 4.40 v1.03 via xmb ?Is it dangerous?Because i have downgraded and installed 4.30 1.03..Is it possible to brick?
Hi. Just a quick question. If I'm running 3.55 CFW and have a few PSN games installed on my ps3 with a fix installed they will not work on 4.40. This I'm aware.
What I wanted to ask is what is the easiest way to make them boot again and if there is a tool that I can install on my ps3 that will do it automatically.
Thanks in advance!
Yesterday I've updated to 4.40 v1.03 and once again logged in, played a couple of races in GT5 also updated my squads in FIFA13 and I'm not banned.
You're just not telling your whole story imo... Ppl got banned after playing FPSs online - it's about the specific-game servers which "flag" you and then you get banned it's not just signing in to SEN... But this is, of course, my personal opinion....
I forgot to say that I had some freezing issues with the built in stealthMM - once I've updated (in XMB) to 4.40 v1.03 - after the boot up sound in MM it got stuck... But i've installed the non-stealth version, executed the .self (installer) for the stealthMM and it's now OK :)
Thanks Rogero. Love your firmware bud. And appreciate all your work and other teams like Rebug.
What is the "history" of your PS3? Have you ever used homebrew while logged in SEN? Did you checked the "clear logs" option in MM? Did you modified any of your "core" files on your system? I'm curious just because I've made a kind of research for myself what actually my console is doing after having internet access (it was back in the days when we used to need Charles and modify headers for console version, etc) and it's about a couple of log files which the console pushes once having internet connection... I'm talking about the boot history, which MM doesn't clear like the pushlist... So when/if $ony (theoretically) see always a blank pushlist, they could take a look at the boot history dat, which can/may result in a ban... BUT I didn't even messed with those files (like for example - making them blank and read-only) and I'm not banned (yet).
All I've done is - turning off the automatic sign in to SEN and I don't sign in before I boot my backup. Once I'm in the game - then I'm signing in. That's pretty much it...
pleas put rif bypass in your cfw
