Now that I think about it, those 2 rif files might have been from when I downloaded the PS+ trials of Uncharted 1 and 2 based on the file names.

Thanks alatnet . I don't have an IDPS file in my exdata folder so I had no clue what the exstention should have been or how I would have made the file. I thew a blank file into HxD hex editor and filled it out then renamed it. I assume if I messed up at all, be that copying down the wrong string or creating the file it cant do that much harm, if any at all. of to try it with one or two games.

grab a hex editor. A good free one is HxD. make a new file and type in the value of your IDPS in the left hand boxed area. It should occupy the first line completely. If it's over that or under that you've done it wrong. Save it as IDPS without any extension
