That was for that one port of mame. Mame is still planned for RetroArch.
more info.
The Imame4all was not intended to be for the PS3 when they ported that to RetroArch it was for Raspberry PI i believe. Now in the standalones i have you can still find and use that core.
RetroArch sets the standard on cross-platform portability right now.
Linux (x86 and x86_64)
Windows (32bit/64bit)
Mac OSX (PPC/Intel)
Playstation 3 (PS3 SDK/PSL1GHT (WIP))
Xbox 1 (XDK)
Xbox 360 (XeXDK/Libxenon)
Gamecube
Wii
Raspberry Pi
OpenPandora
Android (WIP)
As you see RetroArch is not just for the PS3 but many systems. Imame4all was cut for PS3 users. Due to alot of performace issues that was a very early MAME emulator.

DeanK has been nice enough to resign the EBOOT for me and now it needs testing on Rogero 4.30 again
I have tested it on 4.21 REX and it works fine and it should work on all firmwares
TEST_430.rar
This is the complete RetroArch package, please delete you old one before installing this.

Multiman is compatible with RetroArch, but not all of the cores at the moment.
If your loading your roms from RetroArch, they can be stored anywhere you like

Thanks Pete. I added the link to the downloads above. I left the old links as well just in case it has issues for 3.55 users.

was thinking of using this in conjuction with multiman. so i can have covers
so whats the ROM path then? before it was hdd0\ROMS\SNES or something like that. could someone tell me the ROM path so that ROMS show in multiman? (i know where to put the covers: ) )

dev_hdd0/ROMS/ then you can have each folder names anything.
Examples:
dev_hdd0/ROMS/SNES
dev_hdd0/ROMS/Genesis
dev_hdd0/ROMS/Game Boy
The new cores are not multiMAN comp. (ones in red in the article)
This is how i had my roms setup for multiMAN ..Now i haven't used my roms with multiMAN in a few releases moved my roms to an external HDD that died shortly after moving them
.. So i need to do this myself.
. I had the same path for external roms as well in a ROMS folder followed by the system name.
