This will delete the save datas that i have??
Would love to know if anyone has tried this with Code Veronica yet.
menus is stil in Japanese?
Wait, only subtitles?I was gonna rave about how good this is, but really the dialog subtitles are the only words we don't need converted to English.and it's not practical at all if it deletes our save data. But interesting concept that the save data can convert the subtitle language.Hopefully news of this will encourage someone to work on getting the menus converted.(Although IMO the game is pretty playable in Japanese.)
thanks for front paging this so everyone can see, but i am not the one that originally found this method. i seen in various other posts in different forums saying that it might work so i just fooled around with it to see if it actually would and it did, so i just posted how it needed to be done since i haven't seen it anywhere else to this date. so i take no credit for actually "finding" this. only for the tutorial. and props to who ever really found this out
and for those who dont know, heres how to get the menus in english
1. first, with MM or ftp, go to dev_hdd0/game/NPJ00084/USRDIR/gtf
2. backup these 6 files (in case somehing gets messed up): eng_adjust.gtf.lfs.crc, eng_option.gtf.lfs.crc, eng_adjust.gtf.lfs.crc, and the other 3 files that have jpn instead of eng at the beginning of them.
3. after that is done, rename the 3 files named eng_adjust.gtf.lfs.crc, eng_option.gtf.lfs.crc, eng_adjust.gtf.lfs.crc, and put jpn instead of eng.
4. the main menu options, controls, ect. should now be in english
Question: I have never played this game before. Why the need for English subs if there is already English audio. Is there a lot of this game in another language I am assuming?
i tried the save game idea with zero233's idea and worked everything in the game is in english
It is good for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
