so does this work with consoles on cfw? or 3.41 ofw with jailbreak?

or does regular psp or vaio remote play even work with cfw or jailbroken 3.41 ofw?

i heard that the remote play does work but only locally , i want to know if i can do remote play not locally ,but over the internet with either a psp or vaio laptop if im using cfw or 3.41 ofw jailbroken?

so has anyone done this ?

or does anyone know if this can be done?

i have a vaio and it has the remote play software on it ,but i really want to get a psp on cfw and be able to play ps3 backups over the remote play from a remote location over the internet,
so can we do this with cfw? or 3.41 cfw jailbroken?

I get error 0x8004A003 when I try to run it. Any assistance here? I've googled it for a few hours last night and nothing conclusive came up.

I had to upgrade my PC to Win7 due to my Raid having a burst issue. Now I use Windows Server 2008R2. It has 1/3 more of a memory footprint than XP but no where near the 1.2Gig on startup that Win7 has.

WinXP - 250MB ram on startup
    Win7x64 - 1.2GB ram on startup
    WinS08R2 - 380MB on startup

I used a premod version. It's completely legal to download so here is the link:
    Code:
    http://www.win2008workstation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1230
Why is it completely legal you might be asking? Because there isn't an included serial or activation tool. In fact you can download an unmodded version directly from MS's home site. All the mods are legal and available at:
    Code:
    http://www.win2008r2workstation.com/
And let me repeat, this is completely legal no matter what country you live in. The activation tools on the other hand, well not so much. I can't tell you where they are, nor can I mention the name of the Windows Loader tools. Though I will say this. The Windows Server 2008R2 once modded is as fast as XP, looks like XP or 7 depending on how far you take the mod, and has further enhancment that even Win7 lacks.

Now for this Topic, I guess this is ok. I streamed my games to my PSP for a while, but the charm quickly wore off after a few hours. This is something that 4G could really help with. Till then, I may as well be sitting in front of the system.

Maybe something has changed, but doesn't multiman auto-enable remote play for every game? I remember that it was a feature added early on after they found you could edit the SFO.

Windows got way more stable from Vista
Now that is one phrase I thought I would never read in my life!Vista was the biggest pile of bloat-ware, and about as stable as the Titanic after hitting the iceberg. Some people just haven't got a clue.

this works both on cfw and ofw. But the prob is, many games cant be run in remote play mode. Thats where the cfw comes in. U need to modify the PARAM.sfo with an editor. And u need a file manager to replace the old PARAM.SFO. I've tried editing FIFA 11, bt it wudnt start on remote play.
finally, u can use remote play over the internet, LAN, or a home network.

Vista is the most stable windows operating system thus far. What they did for vista was move the GUI handling in a protected memory space so if a window crashed it wouldn't contaminate all the os memory and cause errors such as blue screens. This had an extremely undesirable effect which was a significant speed decrease because it wasn't in main memory anymore and IO to that protected memory space took a lot longer. Since everyone complained about vista being so slow and incomplete, for windows 7 they had to revert to the old way, which was including GUI memory in the main system memory space, this gives the significant speed boost that most people notice between vista and Windows 7. This change makes Windows 7 susceptible to blue screens and other errors that can be cause by memory corruption from GUI applications. So in conclusion Windows vista is actually the most stable operating system from windows and once they figure out a way to keep the GUI memory in a protected memory space but still maintain the speed as if it was in main memory space, they will have a stable and fast product.
