I hope this is able to five the waninkoko disaster, That would be a great help to a lot of folks.
Maybe somebody will show up with one shortly and give it a try.

No question is stupid..........ok..........yeah some questions are pretty damn stupid

, but.......

Tutorial
1. Put both files into the root directory of a flash drive.
2. Put the dongle into the ps3 while it is off and start it.
3. If the flash drive is activated it can be fixed using this.
4. If it however does not, the only fix for it until a software side is found is a hardware flasher.

It says nothing about going into service mode so i would assume not.
As far as fixing RSOD???????
No idea.

Part of why they put it out in its beta form was for various people in the scene to try it out and see what all it can truly fix.
Try it and find out.
After all, right now you are sitting on a paper weight and this possibly could turn it back into a good, useable system.

New here, Testing on my bricked PS3 from the waninkoko disaster. If it works i will update post, fingers crossed.

this is really the best way to release a brick fixer, because honestly...whats the worst that can happen...a bricked ps3, er, um wait!!!

What kind of pup is it, it realy takes long to download about 8 hours, The pup is downloading with 5,68kb/s at me..If its just the 3.55 pup i`ll be looking for another on the net

btw, My ps3 is bricked , when it starts up the update screen comes with 0%, when its nearly at 80% the ps3 gets to a black screen, So hopefully this will solve my problem

i got 1 RSOD machine....im gonna try it after i finish downloading the pup files... the server is so slow
