You are wrong. RedSquirrel is only providing unofficial builds for Showtime coded by the dev Andreas Öman. He deserves the credit for the countless hours he put into the development of the application.

@herbert1234, yes you are correct. But can you compile the many updates and release them early for the scene prior to the official build. Give credit were credit is due. Everyone knows Andreas Öman is the "originator" and he gets full respect/credit when he releases the official build, until then redsquirrel87 will.

Great improvement from previous version. Now the packet buffer fills a lot faster and my movies play almost instantly. The only problem I noticed is the message "memory is too low" after playing a few files in sequence. Thanks.

It really is odd it still does the "memory too low" thing...it does it for me too. I though for sure any memory leak, file not closing properly, would have been fixed by now.

I still see no reason for this app, I mean it's good it's out and getting updated BUT... it can't do windows SMB,can't play all file formats,and you got to boot to the app. Where if you just use a streaming program like PS3 media server or TVersity, Plays all file formats,no need to load any program, And it's just easy and little to no errors. I am still waiting on a good XBMC port or maybe a XBMC CFW now that would be SUPER SWEET!!! XBMC is just awesome and i still use it to this day on my Xbox 1

The obvious advantage is this plays things natively, so you don't need a PC on streaming media.
