JUST TESTED on rebug 4.21 (Rebug system mode, Debug XMB, Debug menu) and it works took the time it takes to install pkg and run reboot.
If you have 3.55 react on this 421 system (with USB drive with previous 3.55 made reactPSN folder & exdata folder) then just run reactPSN 2.23 from XMB renamed aa account and let it reboot.
If no previous 3.55 reactPSN create exdata folder on usb plugged into right usb ps3 port then run reactPSN 2.23 holding R1 so it makes reactPSN folder on usb (and makes 3 necessary files to link PSN act.dat and reactPSN; reActSYS.key & 2 act.key. MAKE SURE valid PSN act.dat is in regular user account before doing any of these steps or it will be pointless)
Where might I read a tutorial on how this works and what exactly it does? I get that it activates PSN content on a CFW PS3 ... but what is required? How do I go about doing so? Will this activate demo PSN games? Can I transfer PSOne games to a Vita?
I'm in the same boat as crashprime here. I'm interested in what exactly this is used for. From what I understand, this program serves two purposes:
1. Allows you to download demo versions of PSN games (at least the ones that actually download the full game and just lock away the non-demo sections, which I believe is how most PSN demos work) and "unlock" them to the full version.
2. Allows you to transfer PSN games/DLC from one PS3/PSN account to another by resigning them or something.
How this is performed (or frankly whether my assessment is accurate or not) I have no idea. My experience with this program thus far has been the following:
I'm running REBUG 4.21. I installed ReActPSN v2.23. I tried loading it. Black screen, then sent back XMB. Looked up tutorials on Google. Only found tutorials for much older versions on 3.55 firmware, and some of those tutorials contained conflicting information (one said to hold R1 upon loading, another said to hold L1 upon loading). Came back here. From what I gather, I need to create a second account on my PS3 called either "aa" or "AA" (again, there was conflicting information about this). I also may or may not need to have already downloaded content from PSN with a PSN account (this was not made clear). I then need to insert a USB stick into the PS3 and launch the program while holding down either L1 or R1. This will apparently write some files onto the USB drive and rename the "aa/AA" account to... something (more conflicting info on this). I have no idea what happens after that. I don't know what the next step is, I'm not even sure this thing does what I think it does, really.
So, yeah. Any help at all on this would be greatly appreciated... >_>;
Can someone tell me what I did wrong?
I installed this and and did what the others posted but the old dlcs won't work.
Do i have to re-install?
Doesn't seem to work on Rebug 4.30.2.
none of this bullshit works, thanks for screwing my multiman... thats what happens when you follow forum bullshit!!!
