I think you're misunderstanding what it's supposed to do. running it without holding a button will look on your external drive for activation files. holding circle when you launch will scan your internal drive and generate your missing license files for games. holding triangle is supposed to scan your internal drive and generate your missing license info for DLC. Each method of holding/not holding buttons activates different kinds of files

Is anyone with an NTSC machine having a problem getting PSOne Classics to display in 4:3 after reactivating with ReactPSN?
(I have upscaling set to normal)

@el cid - when playing the PSOne classics, hit your home button and look in the settings there to make sure everyting is correct for your tv. I'm pretty sure the upscaling is for when you insert an original PSX disc and has nothing to do with the PSOne classics

Under the settings bar on the XMB under "game settings" it's called PS Upscaler, but when you press the PS button during the game (under "other settings") it's called Screen Mode, but it does the same thing whether you are playing a "PSOne Classic" or using an original PS1 disc. I've only mentioned it to rule out the Upscaler feature as a possible cause/solution to the problem. Also, I'm using NTSC versions of games on an NTSC console, so I've ruled out any region problem.
When in "normal" (default) screen mode, the game should be displaying in it's native 4:3, but for some reason it's in more like 3:3, with a slight vertical squishing of the image.
It doesn't happen when I'm playing a PS1 game from an original disc, only with PSOne Classics reactivated with ReactPSN.

On my tv (1080 + 480 widescreen interlaced) full screen vs normal works much better
What kind of tv do you have? (1080/720/480 widescreen/fullscreen etc). It could be a quirk with yours. Do you also get this when playing disc games in 480 4:3 screen modes or is it strictly limited to PSOne games. You'll have to manually force your tv to display lower display modes to check that

I have a 16:9 1080p HDTV.
Full screen seems to have a different meaning on PS3, (at least on my television) when you select "full screen", it's almost 16:9, when you select "normal" it's 4:3 (native PS1 aspect ratio). Anyway, it has nothing to do with screen modes, as I said, I've tried original PS1 discs with no problem at all, just PSOne Classics enable for CFW (ReactPSN & EXEtrimALL).

Can anyone(BaHuMatLord lol)tell me , does this work with Cobra? Just sent away for a Cobra Usb and Video Capture device. Have ReactPSN(Still getting the hang of it, whenever I can pull my self away from GTA and React DLC) on my Phat BC ps3, which I will be using for the Cobra. What I am really saying is will it all still work after applying Cobra CFW and inputting USB?

@nativesith - I'm waiting on my cobra too, but it shouldn't give you a problem as long as you have a working ACT.DAT and the latest version spoofer. Firmware files don't replace user account files which is where your ACT.DAT is located. I can't seem to get the new DLC activation method (holding triangle) to work on Rebug 3.55.6 and others are having the same problem but the 2 other methods of activation should be ok.

Thanks so much for any kind reply

I need some help.
I installed 2-3 games that work only with ReactPSN. they work fine.
but now all my old games that I downloaded give me an error message when I try to run them.

Thanks
